Proud to Call it Home

Started in New Orleans

“When people imagine New Orleans, their vision of the city is grounded in the past. Nobody thinks of it as a modern, design-oriented place. And I thought I could change that by building a fashion brand here.” – Stirling Barrett, founder and creative director, KREWE

What began in New Orleans has become so much more. We draw creative inspiration not only from the vibrant culture and spirit of our city, but also from our world well beyond it. At KREWE, that translates into a creative and design-driven environment, a proclivity to engage with the culture around us, and our signature #doyou mentality.

IN OUR DNA

Our Culture

Our newly formed Employee Engagement Council (EEC) has helped to influence leadership decisions and actions. Most recently, the council has organized virtual and in-person engagement activities company wide. These have included holiday celebrations, wellness breaks, a food drive to support hurricane affected areas of Louisiana, a clothing drive to support women in search of meaningful employment, and a book/movie club! The council is empowered to influence the work culture they desire most.

We also implement an annual, confidential employee survey in order to better understand, analyze, and improve company culture.

Our Core Values

What we stand for

As an organization, we support all movements for social change regarding systemic racism and injustice. Words are not enough, we must be accountable for our actions towards change. These important changes have begun internally by ensuring an effective and inclusive culture where all employees feel welcome, respected and heard. It's important to our company culture that we positively impact the communities in which we work.

Our head of Human Resources is evolving our culture through recruitment strategies, performance reviews, and training. We are partnering with organizations and schools making sure our talent pool is diverse and effective. We are thrilled to have joined the CFDA diversity platform, IMPACT, in February 2021.
