This is a taste of what I grew up with and some of the artists that touched my life. I was fortunate - I got to hear and know many of the greats from New Orleans: Professor Longhair, Fats Domino, Irma Thomas, Dr. John, Jesse Davis, Allen Toussaint, and Preservation Hall. This is a taste, a beginning, a stepping off point - keep digging, there's so much more from where this came from!
